Chopping Wood

After ICE STORM 2007 I went and bought an axe and chain saw. I picked up some big logs from peoples' curbs around town. I cut them into pieces and then split them with the axe. I restocked our wood pile. You can see in the picture of the stumps just how much water was inside of the wood. The concrete wicked the water out of them. Now they are pretty dry and it makes some good firewood. And the best part was that I didn't have to pay for it!

Smile Lauren!

I have nothing to "blog" about but since I know how some people get antsy if something new isn't on here every so often I have decided to post some pictures that I took of Lauren.

Personal Finance

I'm currently enrolled in personal finance at UCO. I took this class because everyone can always use this kind of knowledge throughout their lives even though I think I do pretty well without this class. I never expected that I would be the only one in my class that is not borderline mentally retarded!
Last class period our teacher was telling us about a company that makes out loans to people with no collateral needed. She was emphasizing that the APR was ridiculously high (95.95%). After talking about this for a few minutes she asked if we had any questions. That's when Biff* raised his hand and asked what APR stood for. I couldn't believe it! We had just taken a test that covered that! And we talk about that almost every class period! That's when another moron decided to ask a question. She was perplexed as to what collateral was. This was the same girl that thought corn was the cause of the recent spike in gas prices.
Apparently I'm a college student in a fifth grade class.

The ads that appear change to reflect what is posted in my blog. I just have to say that the ads about the 'guide to Mormonism' most likely do not accurately reflect the views of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. I have not investigated it myself but from experience I have found that the Internet is a vast wasteland full of a lot of lies and useless information. However with that said there are some good places out there. I would recommend visiting www.mormon.org or www.lds.org these are the official church websites and can be trusted to contain truthful information.

Oklahoma Votes!

Oklahoma voted today in what is known as super Tuesday! Unfortunately a lot of Oklahomans are idiots and voted for John McCain. I voted for Mitt Romney! I ordered this shirt I'm wearing a few days ago. I got it yesterday. I hate to say it but today may be the last day that I will be able to wear it. If Romney is not the Republican nominee then I'm voting for Obama! (that is if Obama wins on the democratic side)

CAUTION!

A word of warning to anyone who is from the state of Oklahoma and is cheering for any team that is playing in this stadium...
YOUR TEAM WILL LOSE!

Perfection?

Tom Brady tried to make history Sunday night, but fell short - three points short. With two minutes to go in the fourth quarter Brady did his part and marched his team down the field to regain the lead but the defense couldn't stop some of the insane catches that New York made. How in the world did that guy make that catch with the ball on his helmet?! How did Manning not get sacked seconds before that catch? Well it does not matter now. The New England Patriots fell to New York 17- 14. One thing is for sure now... The New York Giants have now etched their name on my list of hated teams. Now lets never mention this awful, awful game ever again.
