Ocho Psycho

Chad Johnson is officially insane. He has changed his last name to Ocho Cinco. He seems to prefer this nickname he gave himself which refers to his number (85) in Spanish.

McCain - Palin... What?!

I have to say John McCain just sealed it for me. I am a republican and I am voting for Barack Obama. McCain has lost his argument against Obama that he is too inexperienced. McCain's choice of Sarah Palin for a Vice Presidential candidate was extremely poor. She has NO experience whatsoever. She was mayor of a small Alaska town for two terms and has been Governor of Alaska, a state of less than a million people, for only 20 months. Oh you might want to include that she was part of the PTA and a mother, but no matter how you look at it she is not qualified for the second highest office in America. Obviously this was a bold move to attract all of those upset Hillary Clinton supporters. Any true republican can see that this ticket is very weak and does not reflect the party at all. We have a presidential candidate who is a democrat in republican clothing and a woman who has just gotten into politics. I hope you will join me in voting for Barack Obama!

Is Retirement From Pro Sports Really That Hard?

Well, I was reading ESPN today and saw an article about New York Giant's former player Michael Strahan possibly returning to the team. Can you say Brett Farve?! This made me wonder whether retirement from pro sports is really possible. These guys have played for years and reached the top of their game. They can go out on top and be a legend forever. Why do they "retire" for the off-season and then suddenly want to come back?! If you feel like you might want to come back then keep relations with the team and stay in shape but sit out for at least one season. You just might find that retirement is the right thing for you. Players that pull this kind of crap just make me lose respect for them. Keep your word.
UPDATE!! UPDATE!! UPDATE!!
Michael Strahan has decided to stay retired... Thank goodness!

Back to School

School started again today. I got there early to deal with the parking which is always a problem but surprisingly I found a spot without any difficultly (they really need to build a parking garage!). Today I went to Fundamentals of Marketing, Intermediate Algebra, English Comp II, and Intermediate Russian I. Tomorrow I will go to Russian History to 1917, Accounting II, and Walking. In total I am taking 19 hours. Hopefully it will be a good semester!

Tag...I Guess I'm It

I was in eighth grade at Cimarron middle school getting ready for high school at Edmond Memorial. I hated school and wanted to be done with it. I don't really remember anything else that was going on back then.

I was graduating from High school! I was so happy to never have to see those people again. I enrolled in college at The University of Central Oklahoma (UCO) in the fall. I made strait B's but since one class was through Rose State I didn't qualify to be on the Dean's honor roll. I was also getting ready to serve a mission. I didn't know where I was going to serve yet but I was attending missionary prep classes at the Institute.

It was March and I was about in the middle of spring semester at UCO. I was doing well in all of my classes. I was also trying hard to get the attendance up for Institute classes so we could qualify for a new Institute/Church building for the University Ward.

5 Things on my to do list tomorrow...

1. Finish re-staining a door for my Dad's office.
2. Mow the yard
3. Watch some TV
4. Check my e-mail

2. I am an agent for the CIA
3. I once had cat scratch fever
4. I have touched a Lion
5. A woman once thought that I was Jesus

5 Bad habits...

1. I am a huge procrastinator
2. I am addicted to the Internet and TV
3. I hate to answer the phone unless I know who is calling...even then I still won't answer
4. I go to bed really late
5. I sometimes don't blog for a really long time

5 Places I have lived...

  1. Edmond, Oklahoma
  2. Provo, Utah
  3. Pleven, Bulgaria
  4. Varna, Bulgaria
  5. Plovdiv, Bulgaria

Well, well, well what a surprise. Looks like Brett Favre should have stayed retired. Five days into training camp he is asking to limit his throws because his arm is a little fatigued.

Let it go.

Stay retired.

A Night at the Brick

A memorial was set up at Bobby Mercer's statue in front of the stadium.

These are just a few of the pictures that I took while at the game. I never moved positions so they are all from the same angle. Memphis Redbirds

Oklahoma City Redhawks
The Redhawks were winning when we left. I think they won. Yea!
